The Geordie Riviera
An exhibition visiting gallery spaces on Tyneside, UK, featuring some work-in-progress from Hazel Plater's ongoing long-form series, The Geordie Riviera.
The work is from a series started in 2023, documenting day-to-day life on the North Tyneside, UK coast, through environmental portraiture, street photography and urban/beach landscapes.
Featuring North Shields, Tynemouth, Cullercoats and Whitley Bay, this project is an exploration of people and place - considering community, investigating infrastructure and breathing in the fresh sea air.
